Akismet Releases New Version
Akismet (Automattic Kismet), the most popular spam prevention plugin for WordPress and more than 20 other systems and platforms, has released a new version today, 2.1.2. Once installed, the new version allows users to filter spam by comment type, shown on their plugin release page. In addition, you can add additional tabs to the sub-nav with other plugins, further helping to prevent and manage spam.
Plugin Details: Akismet is a plugin that makes comment and trackback spam a much easier task for bloggers, checking each comment against their up-to-the-second database. It is extremely easy to install and update the plugin.
