WordPress 2.3.2 Released

by Kevin on December 30, 2007

A new version of WordPress, an urgent security release, is now available for download.

In this release, the following have been addressed, fixed or added.

  • Fixes a bug that can be used to expose your draft posts.
  • Suppresses some error messages, which can give away information about your database table structure and limits and stops some of the information leaks in the XML-RPC and APP implementations.
  • Users are now able to define a custom DB error page. Configure this by placing your custom template in the wp-content/db-error.php file.

Be sure to upgrade to the latest version or you put your blog in jeopardy due to security threats. This process is fairly simple and usually only takes a few minutes, especially if you are using the WordPress Automatic Upgrade Plugin.
