On-Site Analytics and Packages

By on-site, I am referring to the fact that these sites can provide an in-depth look at the paths of visitors and a general look at your website’s performance based on the data the tracking cookies have collected.  Information regarding price points and features of each are provided.

103 Bees – 103 Bees is a paid service, at $9/month for greater than 100,000 visits/month and $19/one time for sites with less than 100,000 visits/month.  There are several key advantages of this service, as it helps you refine your search campaigns.

3DStats – A service that answers common questions to traffic-analysis questions to make sure your website do all it can for your business, offering a service that analyzes traffic patterns and profiles visitors at your site.

Accenture – Accenture is a new firm that delivers consulting based on analytics and other figures, as well as outsourcing for larger industries and subjects.

AIM Promote – This service provides enterprise-level features for lead management, although it is not free.

Clickability – Provides reporting to large firms and websites that use the ShareThis, PrintThis, and other technologies that allow visitors to share the content on the sites.

ClickFox – A solutions and services provider to Fortune 1000 companies and recommends the best direction that the site should take according to the needs of users.

Clickstream – A datasherpa web marketing platform, allowing you to automatically deploy analytics and online marketing solutions, eliminate customer website tagging completely, and more. The service is intended to be used as a complete package for large firms, in order to provide analytics and online marketing solutions to [your] clients.

Coremetrics – A complete package for large business to maximize marketing dollars and ROI, starting at $699/month.  The service also provides search marketing, email solutions, and other digital marketing optimization tools.

eXTReMe Tracking – This service offers real-time reporting, a wide range of specifications, extensive referrer tracking, JavaScript optimized, and no traffic limitations.  Price: Free.

Fireclick – A web analytics and email marketing service that automatically gathers and stores data for online businesses with no set-up fee.  Other services that the site includes are account management, online training, best practices consultation, search engine optimization, and bid management.

GoingUp! – GoingUp! appears to be a relatively new service, that provides first-class web site analytics and search engine optimization tools for your website.  It is easy to track visitors, monitor sales, see conversion rates, and improve your search strategies using the tools provided.  There are many additional tools, but many are still in “beta,” including Google PR buttons, a site analyzer, tag cloud generator, and other services.

Google Analytics – Google Analytics is quite literally the leader in web analytics, featuring fast implementation onto your website, keyword and campaign comparison, custom dashboards and tracking, AdWords integration, internal site search, benchmarking, trend and date sliders, ecommerce tracking, funnel visualization, site overlay, email reports, geo-targeting, and much more.  Limited only to sites that have less than five million pageviews per month, at which point you’ll have to link your site to an AdWords account with a $1/day running campaign.

HitsLink – HitsLink provides online, real-time reporting on who visits your site, how they found you, how they navigate through your site, if they buy or transact on your site, and how effective your advertising campaigns are.  The service has been active since 1999, with pricing ranging from $9.95 to $599.95, depending on the number of page views you receive and whether you are an individual/company or enterprise.

iHit Counter – A free, hosted web analytics software, for tracking nearly any website for free.  It serves as more than a hit counter.

Intellitracker – Intellitracker is an enterprise/corporate solution for web analytics and provides interactive business intelligence to focus on high quality client service.

iPerceptions – iPerceptions provides insight into who is coming to your website, why they are there, although the service is not free, as it provides solutions for large corporations.

KeyMetric – Keymetric is a campaign analytics, search marketing, and click to call measurement system that tracks both online and offline responses, including telephone calls across your search engine marketing campaigns.

Manticore Technology – Provides solutions for demand generation, in order to produce higher sales and reduce costs.  The service is now integrated with SalesForce.com to provide a powerful link between sales and marketing for increased revenue.

Measure Map – Provides a free, easy-to-read stats interface for your blog.  You can easily navigate the numbers that matter, track links to see who sends you traffic, find out what people do at your site, and easily setup your account.  This service may eventually make its way into Blogger and other platforms, as Google has acquired it.

MetriServe – Offers a unique, real-time web analytics service that will help you gain insight into the audience of your website.  Reports provided help you understand who your visitors are, where they are coming from, and how they are using your website.  Using this, you can generate more leads, increase online sales, optimize marketing campaigns, increase conversion rates, and more.

Mint – Mint provides  ”a fresh look at your site” starting at $30 per site.  In the new version (Mint 2), staggered loading of Pepper data to improve page load time within Mint is included, numerous interface and hierarchy refinements including support for custom styles, improved pane tiling to reclaim wasted screen real estate, better management of additional database tables created by third-party Pepper, and more.

The service includes many of the basic features, all brought together in an elegant interface, creating an easier-to-use look at your website’s visitors and statistics.

MyRT - A free and real-time web analytics service.  The site has easy integration into your site.

Omniture – Web analytics and online business optimization in order to make timely decisions, provide a quick snapshot of the key performance indicators for your online efforts, automatic system alerts anytime, one place to measure, analyze, and optimize all online and multi-channel initiatives.

OneStatFree – “The best hit counter on the web.”  This service provides a hit counter for free, which allows you to see how many visitors and page views you receive, who your visitors are, which pages are the most popular, how your visitors find your site, and where they are coming from, as well as what browsers your visitors use.  Some advantages include password protected accounts, track unlimited web pages, fast, free, responsive, and quick loading service, as well as free traffic reports via email.

Open Tracker – A web site tracking tool built for website analysis – monitor visitors online and in “real time.”  You can also make daily decisions based on customer behavior, tack statistics for direct feedback, generate marketing numbers, and more.  The service is not free, at $19.95/month for 24/7 password-protected stats, real-time web-based reporting system, login from any internet connection, and real-time visitor monitoring.

Site Meter – A free and paid (premium) service, measuring traffic based on the tracking code installed on your site.  Features of the premium version include an invisible counter options, records for last 4000 visitors, advanced ranking reports, and ad-free access, starting at $6.95-$199.95/month depending on the number of month page views your site receives.

Performancing Metrics (pmetrics) – A web analyzer that works great with nearly any site, including AJAX and Flash websites.  It is targeted towards smaller websites and blogs as it tracks a high level of detail on every visitor.  The service offers several “advantages” to other services, due to the clean interface, as well as the price – free for up to three websites and 1,000 daily page views per day per site, with higher traffic level accounts starting at less than $2/month.

SiteClarity – Advanced insight into website data to optimize companies’ site strategies.  The service accurately tracks and reports the customer experience, providing a deeper understanding of individual behavior and the key performance indicators can be directly attributed to the company’s online success.

SPSS – Intended for corporate and enterprise uses, this service “enables the predictive enterprise,” providing higher response rates for clients.

StatCounter – A “free, yet reliable invisible web tracker,” with detailed reports and advanced features, considering they would rather not create a profit, but instead simply break-even each month.  The free service is available for websites that receive less than 250,000 page load per month or less.  Paid services (up to fifteen million page loads/month run at between $9 to $29/month with larger log sizes.

SuperStats – SuperStats is a service that provides accurate, in-depth website traffic statistics for your website.  The site is not free, and plans start at $9.95 per month, with no setup fee.  You receive detailed reports on number of visitors to your site as well as search engines and keywords that are driving visitors to your site.

W3Counter – A 2.0 tool for essential, real-time reports with information any website or blog owner can use to judge the trends of their website.  There is a city-level visitor map, visitor demographics, web stats widgets, customizable tracking image, dashboard with stats, navigation tracking, follow your visitors, and visitor identification, all placed in a clean navigation and user interface.

Web Abacus – This service provides multi-channel marketing analysis, web 2.0 and streaming media capabilities, 3D traffic visualization, automated optimization and data integration, tailored reports to meet your exact business requirements, all on a hosted or licensed model.

WebStat – With a newly designed interface, WebStat is a serious competitor in the stats and analytics market, with tracking up to 20,000 pageviews/monthly with the free account, access to ten key reports, free web counter, free technical support via email and user forum, and no pressure to upgrade.  Premium plans run at $9.95 to $284.95+/month depending on the number of page views you receive monthly.

WebTraffIQ – Services that WebTraffIQ include are analytics software fro tracking and analyzing your visitors, technical help on setting up the web analytics system to pull in all data sources such as CRM, CMS, mobile phone, AJAX/Web 2.0 Flash Events, and offline marketing data and consulting on how to decipher the data.  Ideal for larger businesses and websites.

WebTrends – WebTrends provides information on web analytics and consumer-centric marketing intelligence solutions.  Several additional services the site provides are related to advertisement optimization and consulting services.

Woopra - Woopra is a desktop client that displays your website traffic based on the tracking code installed on your site.  The one negative aspect of the service is that sites with more than 10,000 daily pageviews and sites must allow JavaScript.  Paid and free accounts will become available when the service comes out of beta.
