    I’ve joined twitter recently. Not sure about promotion value (I do gain occasion visitors from twitter) but it’s nice tool to keep an eye on links fellow bloggers find interesting and such. Can be used as decent IM for simple stuff as well.

    @Rarst – Yes, that’s what I thought too. I don’t see as much value in a service like this, especially if you don’t have such a huge following on your blog itself, as you generally won’t gain as many “followers” as subscribers.

    Try using a client such as tweetdeck, this allows you to add search terms and list them in seperate columns, makes keeping track of things you are interested in very easy, and twitter much more useful
