I use a lot of RSS syndication at my blog (software updates, post titles from blogroll, social stuff) and most of that was total pain to setup (up to patching core WordPress files). I doubt most bloggers are willing to dig that deep. Overall it's awesome and very flexible technology but far from plug'n'play approach. RSS has lots of uses but usually it means getting deep into technical details. Overall it’s awesome and very flexible technology but far from plug’n'play approach.
