I use to be resume writer and getting people to give you all the positive stuff about themselves could be like pulling teeth: hard work and not easily forthcoming. People need to remember that this type of promotion comes from a healthy self-image. You're a good person, who does good things and it is not wrong to acknowledge this as long as it is not used put down others, but instead to offer them your talent and skills to assist them in some way.
